Product Description

Electromagnetic Ferromagnetic Filter (Slurry Separator) produces a high-intensity magnetic field (upto 35000 Gauss) to separate fine iron and paramagnetic minerals from a ceramic slurry/chemical or liquid slurry.  widely used in the ceramics industry to remove problematic magnetic particles from slips and glazes. 

 

In the Mineral Processing industry, more powerful Electro Magnetic Filters can remove fine grinding iron and some paramagnetic minerals (e.g. Hematite) found in non-metallic minerals slurries.  Electro Magnetic Filters are also used to remove free iron and scale from water in power stations, steelworks and water recycling plants.

Working principle 

The magnetic filters consist of a solenoid electromagnetic coil enclosed in a steel housing ,The coil generates a uniform magnetic field throughout the bore of the coil, 

When feed material flows through the magnetized matrix, the iron bearing contaminants are captured and held via the extremely high gradient and provides the collection sites, resulting in a high purity product. The non magnetic product flows freely through the canister, aided by the matrix vibration.

A: The eccentric type is much more suitable for the complicated material situation, The eccentric rotor design reduces long-term wear due to heated ferrous build up, and can effectively avoid the device damage caused by impurity ferrous metal.
Exclusive the ferrous influence, the concentric type has a little bit better separation effect but must make sure no ferrous exist.
